Narin General Use and Beyond

Preface I will show a build that can be used a few different ways. This is just what I personally like. Feel free to move things around. I like maxing Range and building Strength. VERY IMPORTANT Having a proper priming companion makes a world of difference when using Narin (really any frame tbh). I prefer using Diriga+Tazicor to prime Viral, Magnetic, and like 3 other statuses literally everywhere while I'm flying around the map. Explanation The build above is what I use for all 4 of my configs. Subsumes Base, Nourish subsume, Roar subsume, and Pull subsume I put Nourish over her 1, but I think I'm going to switch it to her 2. Roar and Pull are both subsumed over her 2. Nourish's Viral is applied to her 4's aura damage, so it will be applying Viral. However, it's only the aura that does so, and the sword waves typically kill everything easily. - Furthermore, your companion is most likely priming Viral already, so the only real worth from Nourish here is the Energy multiplier (unless you want to add Viral to your weapons) Roar's damage bonus is also applied to abilities, so Narin's 4 will benefit from this. Roar is also just really good in general for all of your weapons, so it's kinda just the defacto best damage subsume in most situations. Pull here is for greater CC. Yes, I know, we already have massive AoE from our 3 applying Cold. However, what if I want more CC? Pull's range is also 33.12 while Narin's 3 is 26.5, so Pull reaches further. Idk, I just put it there because it felt good to use while in a solo Cascade Why subsume over her 2? Cat Shields + Augur Mod = full 1.33 shield gate when any amount of energy is used. Her 1 is fairly cheap even at 50% Efficiency, so that's my go-to shield gate ability. If you like Narin's 2, which I don't blame you if you do, then subsume off her 1 if you want to still use her 4. If not, then subsume off her 4. Why Archon Stretch and not Archon Flow? Archon Stretch is activated by Companion abilities that deal Electric damage. Therefore, I offload that activation to my Diriga. Pair that with Zenurik's energy regen, I never run out of Energy. Archon Flow is only activated when an enemy dies to an ability dealing Cold damage. So, only your 4 will be activating Archon Flow, which has a significantly lower uptime compared to Diriga's Precept mods that activate Archon Stretch. Also, yes, I'm too lazy to put in another forma to put Primed Flow :) somd...we got 600 energy Shards 2 Cast Speed, 2 Duration, 1 Equilibrium shard Feel free to use whatever you want. I think the cast speed is the only mandatory option here. The other 3 are whatever you want them to be.
