Excalibur Level Cap
Excalibur Umbra
Excalibur General Use and Level Capping Excalibur's 1, Slash Dash: Damage is based on the Exalted Blade and how its modded When used within range of an enemy, you automatically target that enemy. If other enemies are within range, you will chain to those enemies effectively increasing the duration of Slash Dash. You are fully invulnerable for the duration of Slash Dash. Can be used as a mobility tool. Excalibur's 2, Radial Blind (or Radial Howl): AoE Blind that opens enemies up to Finishers. Requires LoS (Line of Sight) to effect enemies Radial Howl's additional effect removes Sentient DR to status effects Excalibur's 3, Radial Javelin: AoE damage ability. The actual damage is mid, but does cause Stagger. The augment Furious Javelin is what can make this ability good to keep rather than subsumed off. Augment gives Melee Damage per enemy hit. Amount of damage bonus per enemy is increased by Strength and the duration of the bonus is increased with Duration. This damage bonus is multiplicative to base damage bonuses (like Pressure Point). Excalibur's 4, Exalted Blade: The Exalted Weapon Slide attack is a mini Radial Blind Also shoots out waves of energy that bypass terrain, but does have damage fall-off and has its damage decreased in the same way that follow-through functions. Energy waves are an additional hit separate from the sword itself. Heavy Attack energy waves also have fall-off and follow-through functionality. However, they do not benefit from Chromatic Blade or combo bonuses. A BIG IMPORTANT NOTE about the energy waves from Exalted Blade: Condition Overload's damage bonus is multiplicative to base damage bonuses on the energy waves. Additionally, heavy attacks do not benefit from This means you can do some truly disgusting damage when you combine all 3 damage multipliers to the Exalted Blade (Base Damage, CO bonus, and Furious Javelin bonus). Showcase video is attached. Build 1: General Use (comfort build) Nourish is the subsume here to gain Viral on the Exalted Blade but also for the Energy multiplier. It is badly needed if you don't want to use Arcane Energize. This allows for easy nuking of enemies all the way up to level cap. This build also allows you to spam his 1 for the invulnerability or as a movement tool to get around faster. Main components: Brief Respite + Cat Shields + Slash Dash = your main survivability tool Rolling Guard is there as cushion and for emergency situations. Chromatic Blade for the base Electric. Chromatic Blade is not applied to heavy attack. Build 2: Damage Capping Changes over Build 1: Blind Rage -- Transient Fortitude Chromatic Blade -- Furious Javelin Arcane Strike -- Arcane Fury Molt Augmented -- Arcane Energize Nourish -- Wrathful Advance Empty mod slot is for Furious Javelin Exalted Blade build has also changed to be heavy attack focused. Purpose here is to pair heavy status priming with aiming for weakpoints with heavy attack energy waves from Exalted Blade. I HIGHLY recommend utilizing a companion primer with Excal, especially with the Damage Capping build. It makes a world of difference.
